The 997 Turbo was distinguished from the contemporary Carrera by a lower front lip spoiler, revised bumper covers, side air intakes, flared rear fenders, and a hydraulically powered rear wing that automatically deploys at speed. This example is finished in Basalt Black Metallic and features bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, a power-operated sunroof, and a rear wiper. “Minor to moderate” damage as a result of a rear-end collision is noted on the Carfax report in April 2008.
Aftermarket 20″ Road Force wheels are mounted with 235/30 Ohtsu FP8000 tires. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), while braking is handled by cross-drilled rotors with red-finished six- and four-piston calipers.
The cabin features power-adjustable, heated, and 16-way adaptive front sport seats trimmed in Special Cocoa leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a dash-mounted chronometer, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, Porsche-branded floor mats, and a Bose sound system. Aftermarket Bluetooth integration was installed under current ownership. The removed CD changer is included in the sale.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel equipped with Tiptronic buttons frames a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, a 225-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates approximately 53k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque when new. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997 Turbo to overboost for up to ten seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 ft-lb. An oil change was performed in May 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
