This 2003 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage GT was ordered new by film producer Greg Garrison and was delivered to California, where it was acquired by the seller in February 2017. The car is finished in Balmoral Green Metallic over tan leather and is powered by a 5.9-liter V12 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Features include 18″ alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, an Aston Martin-branded CD stereo, mesh front grilles, a short-throw shifter, and a GT-specific exhaust system.
Only 64 of the 190 GT variants produced were exported to the US, and this example is finished in Balmoral Green Metallic. Features include a GT-specific rear lip spoiler, fog lights, mesh front grilles, hood and fender vents, and integrated dual exhaust outlets. A “GT” emblem has been added to the trunk lid, and the seller notes damage to the clearcoat on the passenger-side C pillar.
GT-specific 18” five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/40 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires that show 2021 date codes. Braking is provided by Aston Martin-branded calipers over slotted rotors at all four corners, and the car rides on a revised suspension that was unique to the GT variant. Recent service is said to have included replacement of front brake pads and rotors.
The tri-tone cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats trimmed in tan leather, which are complimented by a darker dashboard and door panels. The wood veneer accents are said to have been refurbished, and amenities include automatic climate control, a Premium Audio sound system, and power windows. Billet aluminum trims the climate control dials and short-throw shifter. Service performed under current ownership involved replacement of the air conditioning compressor and left-side blower motor.
A wood-trimmed steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 41k miles.
The 5.9-liter V12 is equipped with a GT-specific exhaust system and was factory-tuned to produce 435 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The clutch, fuel pumps, ignition coils, spark plugs, and radiator are said to have been replaced under current ownership. The seller states that a recent inspection by Aston Martin of Newport Beach, California, noted oil pan seepage.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with a shortener final-drive ratio than the standard Vantage.
