This 1995 Land Rover Range Rover County Classic LWB is said to be one of fewer than 150 units sold new in Canada for its model year, which featured an ergonomic “soft dash” dashboard design with a passenger airbag. Subsequent reconditioning involved servicing the air conditioning and replacing ignition and suspension components, the tires, and fluids for the powertrain and hydraulics. Refinished in Beluga Black over Sorrell Tan leather, it has adjustable air suspension, 16″ Cyclone-design wheels, heated front seats, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Power comes from a 4.2-liter V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission.
The body was refinished in its factory shade of Beluga Black under prior ownership, and stainless-steel hardware was installed to mate it with the frame. Exterior details include a front brush guard, a power sunroof, a receiver hitch with a tow ball, and a heated windshield, front door locks, and headlamp washers.
Finished in Silver Sparkle, the 16″ Cyclone-design wheels were mounted with 215/85 Falken Wildpeak A/T4W tires in 2024. The truck rides on a 108″ wheelbase, and its electronic air suspension can raise the vehicle 1.6″ for off-road conditions and lowers it 2.4″ when stopped. The air suspension is said to have been overhauled within the last 2k kilometers (~1,200 miles).
The heated and power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in Sorrell Tan Connolly leather, and hand-rubbed burl walnut accents the cabin, which has remote keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, driver seat position memory, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and an eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with a cassette stereo as well as a CD changer mounted in the cargo area.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel had a reduced diameter for 1995 and is mounted on a tilt column. It frames a six-digit odometer showing 156k kilometers (~97k miles).
The 4.2-liter Rover V8 was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs, ignition wires, coolant, and engine oil were replaced in preparation for the sale, and the air conditioning system was recharged. Additional work is said to have included cleaning the fuel system and installing a replacement fuel filter.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a ZF four-speed automatic transmission and a Borg Warner two-speed transfer case with viscous coupling, both of which were serviced with replacement fluids along with the differentials.
