Factory equipment includes an adaptive suspension, speed-sensitive power steering, and a 20mm rear sway bar. Service in 2018 included replacement of the rear leveling valve, control arms, sway bar links, and bushings.
The heated front seats are trimmed in patterned M-Tech cloth (0475), and matching upholstery extends to the door panel inserts and rear seating. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, an M shift knob, floor mats, and power windows and door locks. A BMW-branded cassette stereo was fitted in 2017, and cargo area nets have been added behind the rear seats. The right-rear window lifter regulator was replaced in 2018, and the air conditioning system was recharged in 2021.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 300-kilometer speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The digital odometer shows 117k kilometers (~73k miles).
The 3.8-liter variant of the S38 inline-six was factory rated at 340 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag 280 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A replacement fuel filter, fuel line, pinion seal, belts, hoses, and filters were fitted in 2018, while work performed in 2021 included an oil change, a valve adjustment, and replacement of the valve cover gasket, spark plugs, and exhaust supports.
