This 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, turbo boost pressure, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 20k miles.
The turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. The hood struts and insulation pads were replaced in September 2014 and the lower radiator hose and coolant expansion tank were replaced in November 2015. Servicing in preparation for the sale included replacing the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and an accessory belt.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
