This 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is finished in Calumet Cream (50) over Antique Light Buckskin Sierra Grain leather. A subsequent refresh included replacing the vinyl for its power-operated soft top along with other exterior and interior elements. The car is powered by a 500ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and it has power-adjustable Dual Comfort front seats, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, four-wheel disc brakes, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a push-button AM/FM stereo.
A replacement Buckskin soft top was installed in 2019, at which time the automatic antenna was replaced, as well. Pinstripes and fender-mounted light monitors are additional elements.
The 15″ steel wheels have full covers and are mounted with Toyo Extensa A/S thin-whitewall tires. The Eldorado featured a torsion bar front suspension and a coil-sprung solid rear axle with Automatic Level Control damping. Stopping power comes from Hydro-Boost disc brakes with ventilated rotors at all four corners.
The power-adjustable Dual Comfort front seats are trimmed in Antique Light Buckskin leather. The color-keyed carpets were installed in 2019 along with replacement door panels and rear speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilt-and-telescoping column, and it frames a 100-mph speedometer with a five-digit odometer showing 2,200 miles.
Rated at 190 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque when new, the 500ci V8 was equipped at the factory with a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, and it sends power to the front wheels via a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission.
