The power on this 1971 Ford F-250 Custom 4×4 pickup is provided by a 390ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case and the truck is finished in green over green vinyl upholstery. Features include a rear step bumper, front tow hooks, a white brush guard, an Edelbrock 600-cfm carburetor, stainless-steel exhaust headers, electronic ignition, manually locking front hubs, white 16″ steel wheels, and Old Man Emu shocks. The cabin is outfitted with an AM radio, Bass 48 overhead speakers, and a heater.
The truck was finished from the factory in Mallard Green (V) and features a chrome front bumper, a white mesh brush guard, swing-lock side mirrors, a white-painted rear step bumper, and front tow hooks as well as dealer badges from Ames Chevrolet Oldsmobile of Moline, Kansas.
White-painted 16” steel wheels are mounted with 9.00-16 Power King Premium Traction tires, and a matching spare is stowed in the pickup bed. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, Old Man Emu shocks, and a Rancho steering stabilizer.
The bench seat is trimmed in green vinyl upholstery along with color-matched door panels and carpeting. Equipment includes a white headliner, an under-dash AM radio, Bass 48 overhead speakers, a heater, lap belts, and crank windows.
The two-spoke steering wheel is cracked and fronts a horizontal 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for monitoring fuel level and coolant temperature. The oil pressure gauge and sending unit were replaced under current ownership.
The 390ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt and installed under prior ownership and is fitted with an Edelbrock 600-cfm four-barrel carburetor, stainless-steel tubular exhaust headers, electronic ignition, and Shelby Ford–branded valve covers. The chassis number indicates that the truck was originally powered by a 360ci V8.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through an NP435 four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
