This 1970 Datsun 510 was acquired in 2018 by the seller and has since been modified with a 2.0-liter SR20DET fitted with a Garrett turbocharger, a CX Racing intercooler, and HKS camshafts. Previously finished in white, the car was repainted in the Lamborghini shade of Titanium Metallic in 2020 following bodywork that included installing Futofab wheel arch flares and shaving the rear pillar vents and license plate lights. Additional features include a rear spoiler, fender-mounted mirrors, aftermarket window tint, smoked taillights, and LED lighting.
Bronze-finished 15″ Volk Racing TE37V wheels are wrapped in 205/50 Toyo Proxes R888 tires. The braking system has been modified with Wilwood four-wheel discs, an adjustable proportioning valve, and a 1″ hydraulic master cylinder. The suspension features the following components:
- Techno Toy Tuning height-adjustable coilovers
- Hyperco springs
- Ermish Racing front lower control arms, traction rods, and tie rods
- FutoFab rear toe and camber adjusters
- Aftermarket sway bars
- Polyurethane bushings
Recaro front bucket seats are upholstered in black with metal ventilation grommets and mesh headrest inserts. A custom SSS-style dashboard and replacement interior panels have been installed, along with a Retrosound Bluetooth stereo and a fire extinguisher. The seller states that the HVAC ducts have been replaced and the heater core has been rebuilt.
A three-spoke MOMO steering wheel frames Speedhut instrumentation, which includes a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline. The digital odometer indicates approximately 180 miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter SR20DET inline-four was installed by the seller and was reportedly built with HKS camshafts, Eagle connecting rods, CP pistons, a Garrett GT2871R turbocharger, a CX Racing intercooler, 750cc Deatschworks fuel injectors, a Z32 300ZX-sourced mass airflow meter, a Radium fuel delivery system with Walbro pumps, and a custom exhaust system and manifold. The battery has been relocated to the trunk and fitted with a cutoff switch. An oil change was performed in May 2021.
The five-speed manual transmission was reportedly sourced from a 240SX and fitted with a Nismo twin-disc clutch. Power is routed to the wheels through a Driveshaft Shop driveshaft and axles along with an R180 limited-slip differential from a Subaru STI. Transmission and differential services were performed in May 2021.
