Work on this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino including a repaint in green with white stripes and the installation of a replacement 402ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The suspension and brakes were overhauled, the interior was re-trimmed in black, and bucket seats from a late-model Camaro SS were installed according to the seller. Equipment includes a cowl hood, 15″ American Racing VN501 wheels, front disc brakes, a Weiand intake manifold, and a Holley four-barrel carburetor.
The pickup was finished from the factory in Forest Green and was repainted during the refurbishment completed in 2021. Exterior details include a cowl hood, white hood stripes, quad headlights, a drop-down tailgate, and SS badging.
The 15″ American Racing VN501 wheels are mounted with 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and stopping is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
Bucket seats sourced from a 2018 Camaro SS were installed during the refurbishment and are accompanied by coordinated black trim. The dash pad, headliner, door panels, and carpets were replaced during the refurbishment according to the seller. A Hurst shifter is installed.
The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. An aftermarket oil-pressure gauge is mounted below the dash.
The replacement 402ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt during the refurbishment and is topped with a Weiand aluminum intake manifold and a Holley four-barrel carburetor.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
