Description
This 1967 Ford Mustang fastback was purchased by the seller in 1992, and it was subsequently refurbished and modified. The exterior was refinished in red, SCAT front bucket seats upholstered in black were fitted, and a 428ci FE V8 was installed and paired with its four-speed manual transmission and a Currie 9″ rear end. Additional modifications updated suspension and cooling components, a Baer front disc-brake conversion, 17″ wheels, and an Alpine stereo paired with a custom sound system.

The body was refinished in its current red finish in 2001 aLording to the seller. The grille trim was removed, and features include dual mirrors as well as chrome bumpers and rocker trim. The finish is said to display wear and imperfections as well as a rust spot ahead of the left-rear wheel arch.
17″ American Racing wheels have a polished finish and wear Falken tires. Baer calipers with cross-drilled and slotted discs are fitted up front, and the vehicle is also equipped with a rack-and-pinion steering system sourced from Total Control Products.
Black upholstery covers the front SCAT bucket seats and the stock rear bench. Additional modifications include a Hurst shifter topped with a skull-themed shift knob, a center storage cubby with cup holders, and an Alpine stereo linked to a Kicker subwoofer and Pioneer speakers.
Replacement Auto Meter gauges are recessed within the stock openings and feature a five-digit odometer indicating that nearly 24k miles have been driven since completion of the build. True mileage is unknown.
The 428ci FE V8 was installed in place of the factory 289ci V8 and is said have been rebuilt with a 0.30″ overbore, a Crane camshaft, Edelbrock cylinder heads, and a Holley Speed Demon 750cfm carburetor fitted to an Edelbrock intake manifold. Cooling is from a Modine radiator with dual Flex-a-Lite electric fans. Other additions include a Centerforce clutch, an MSD ignition, finned-aluminum valve covers, and a trunk-mounted battery.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a Currie Ford 9″ rear end. Further updates include Total Control front coilover suspensions rear Koni shocks, and Total Control strut tower bracing.
