The Series 62 was restyled for the 1950 model year and featured a single-piece curved windshield, revised rear panel styling, additional chrome trim, and a larger front grille compared to the 1949 model. This example is one of 6,986 convertibles produced for the model year. Features include an antenna, a driver-side mirror, and a fuel filler cap mounted behind the left taillight. The tan soft top was reportedly installed under the seller’s ownership along with a matching top boot.
The red-painted steel wheels wear full chrome covers and are mounted with 8.20-15 BFGoodrich Silvertown bias-ply whitewall tires. A matching spare wheel and tire with a baby moon hubcap are mounted in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by hydraulic drums at all four corners.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats trimmed in red upholstery along with matching door panels and carpets as well as a two-tone painted steel dash. Features include power windows, a heater, an AM radio, a clock, and black floor mats.
