This 1941 Cadillac Series 60 Special is a Fleetwood-bodied sedan that was refurbished under previous ownership. This example was delivered from the factory in Gunmetal Gray Metallic (54) and was repainted under previous ownership. Red-painted wheels wear chrome hubcaps with color Cadillac crests, and they are mounted with 7.00–15 BFGoodrich Silvertown wide-whitewall tires. A matching spare wheel is stowed in the trunk. The car features an independent front suspension with coil springs as well as a semi-floating rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats trimmed in striped gray cloth along with a color-coordinated headliner, door panels, and carpets. Woodgrain trim accents the door caps, and equipment includes an AM radio, a heater, a clock, and a locking glovebox, while the rear cabin features a robe cord, a footrest, and a fold-down armrest.
The ivory-color two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for engine temperature, battery charge, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles.
The 346ci Monobloc V8 is topped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 150 horsepower.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
