Work in preparation for the sale involved replacing the coolant expansion tank, voltage regulator, right rear brake caliper, and hardware for the body-color removable hardtop. Equipment includes a white soft top, turbine-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a rear luggage rack, a side-exit exhaust system, and a push-button radio.
Finished from the factory in Milano Maroon, the car was repainted in its current shade of red at some point under prior ownership. Hardware for the removable hardtop was replaced in preparation for the sale in addition to the right quarter window regulator. A white soft top, rear luggage rack, and a side-exit exhaust system are also installed.
Reproduction turbine-style knock-off wheels are mounted with Goodyear Power Cushion goldline tires. A set of Rally-style 15″ wheels is included in the sale. The right rear brake caliper was replaced in preparation for the sale.
The refreshed cabin houses two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Appointments include a heater, a push-button radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.
A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 61k miles.
The 327ci V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque and is fitted with an MSD electronic ignition system as well as a revised camshaft. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The coolant expansion tank and voltage regulator were replaced in preparation for the sale, while the fan clutch was repaired and the clutch was adjusted. Work in preparation for the sale included replacing a power valve in the carburetor and an exhaust flange gasket.
