Developed under the Type 131 project name, the Emira features carbon-fiber composite bodywork over a bonded aluminum chassis based on the outgoing Evora GT. At the time of launch, Lotus Cars’ parent company, Geely, announced that it would be the marque’s final internal-combustion-powered model. This example is finished in Magma Red and equipped with the Lower Black Pack, which added a black front splitter, rear diffuser, front air blades, and side sills. Other features include LED lighting, parking sensors, power-folding mirrors, and First Edition C-pillar badges. A ceramic coating has been applied according to the seller.
The 20″ forged wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 295/30 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tires. First Edition models feature the Lotus Driver’s Pack, which includes options for Touring and Sport suspension setups, the former of which is equipped on this car. Stopping power is provided by red-painted calipers over two-piece slotted and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The cockpit features 12-way power-adjustable and heated seats trimmed in red Nappa leather. Matching upholstery extends to the door panels, dashboard, and center console, while black carpets line the floors. Equipment includes dual-zone climate control, a rearview camera, a KEF premium sound system, and a 10.25″ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Black mesh grilles on the center console sides reveal the shifter linkage.
The 3.5-liter Toyota 2GR-FE V6 features an Edelbrock 1740 supercharger, and it was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an Aisin six-speed manual transaxle. The Lotus Driver’s Pack added a switchable exhaust system and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Lotus of Scottsdale, Arizona, along with factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $107,750.
