The 14″ wire wheels wear three-eared spinners and are mounted with Coker Classic whitewall tires. The car is equipped with a manual steering rack, and braking is handled by unassisted four-wheel drums. The seller notes that the shock absorbers, wire wheels, whitewall tires, leaf springs, brakes, and brake lines were replaced in 2021.
The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with pleated white inserts. Equipment includes a 12-volt electric conversion, heater and defroster, polished door sills, lap belts, dual dashboard speakers, a retro-style Bluetooth stereo, and engine-turned aluminum accents on the doors and dashboard. The the clock does not work, the power-seat motors were replaced but need to be wired in, and the heater control cables are not connected. A set of heater control cables are included in the sale. The seller notes that the carpet, floor heat shielding, seat foam, seat covers, heater box and motor, drop curtain, door panels, and kick panels have been replaced.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 150-mph speedometer, 5k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 77k miles.
The 292ci Y-block V8 features finned valve covers and a PerTronix electronic ignition and was factory rated at 198 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque. A 12-volt electrical system has been installed including an alternator, battery, voltage regulator, wiper motor, and ignition coil. The seller notes that a fluid service and tune-up were performed, and the fuel filter, thermostat, water pump, fuel lines, hoses, fuel lines and fuel tank were replaced in 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a three-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission.
Manufacturer’s literature, component manuals, wiring schematics, removed 6-volt generator, air cleaner, 6-volt radio, removed wheels and hub caps are included in the sale.
