The car was refinished in its present shade of red in 2021. Features include pop-up headlights, GT-S-specific front and rear spoilers and rocker moldings, and mud flaps. The hood support clamp, hatch struts, taillights, and left side marker light housing are said to have been replaced.
Replacement 15″ Volk Racing TE37V wheels with gray-painted faces and polished lips are wrapped in 185/55 Toyo Proxes T1R tires that were installed in July 2019. A coilover kit from Techno Toy Tuning comprising Swift springs and Koni yellow dampers is said to have been installed under current ownership. The tie rods and rack and pinion bellows were also replaced.
The cabin features seating surfaces that have been reupholstered gray and red cloth. Equipment includes front sport seats, hand-crank windows, power-adjustable mirrors, an electric rear window defogger, and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo linked to front and rear Pioneer speakers and a Pioneer subwoofer.
The replacement leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 320k miles.
The 1.6-liter 4A-GE DOHC inline-four features dual overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, and T-VIS variable induction. Factory-rated output was 112 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil pan was replaced and an oil change was performed in July 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
