This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is finished in blue over tan upholstery and is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The body was refinished in its current shade of Dutch Blue (AR-343) in 2018, and the front and rear windows, badges, and window trim were replaced at that time. Exterior details include a left-side mirror, quad headlights, chrome trim, and C-pillar serpent badging.
Steel 14″ wheels have been powder-coated silver and are mounted with 185/70 Kumho Solus tires, and a full-size steel spare equipped with a Yokohama tire is mounted in the trunk. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners, and the car is equipped with Koni shocks. The front calipers and suspension were serviced in 2019.
The interior was partially refurbished during prior ownership and features tan upholstery on the seating surfaces and replacement door panels contrasted by a recovered black dashboard. Replacement wood trim accents the dashboard and center console, and additional equipment includes a locking glove compartment, manually operated windows, and an air-conditioning system that was converted to R134a refrigerant during prior ownership.
The wood-rimmed Personal steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. Approximately 86k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer.
The 2.0L twin-cam inline-four is equipped with SPICA fuel injection and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Updates performed in 2019 included installation of Colombo & Bariani camshafts, a programmable distributor, a replacement battery, and a stainless-steel exhaust as well as a servicing of the air-conditioning system with a replacement compressor, receiver dryer, condenser, fan, and lines.
