Description
This 1971 Datsun 240Z is finished in silver over black upholstery and powered by a 2.4-liter inline-six mated to a replacement five-speed manual transmission. Modifications includes a Nardi steering wheel and shift knob, 16″ RS Watanabe wheels, Tokico shocks, Eibach springs, a BRE-style front lip spoiler, aftermarket exhaust components, an aluminum radiator, four-piston calipers, and a limited-slip differential. The car was recently acquired by the seller, and subsequent service included an oil change and bleeding the brakes and clutch.

The exterior was refinished in silver approximately ten years ago features a BRE-style front spoiler, a left-side mirror, and chrome bumper with overriders.
RS Watanabe 16″ alloy wheels are finished in metallic gray and wear 225/45 Dunlop Direzza ZIII tires. Additional modifications include adjustable Tokico shocks, Eibach springs, polyurethane bushings, stainless-steel brake lines, and four-piston calipers at all four corners with cross-drilled rotors up front. The brakes were bled in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl, and equipment includes a Nardi steering wheel and shift knob, a heater, metal pedal trim, and a Pioneer cassette stereo. The removed steering wheel is included in the sale.
Instrumentation includes a 130-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a clock and additional gauges are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 39k miles.
The 2.4-liter inline-six was reportedly rebuilt along with the carburetors during prior ownership, and modifications are said to include a Schneider Racing camshaft, electronic ignition, K&N air filters, and an aluminum radiator, along with heat-wrapped headers and an aftermarket exhaust system with an Abarth muffler. The clutch was bled and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
The seller states that additional modifications include a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission sourced from a 280ZX and a WRX-sourced limited-slip differential.
