Delivered from the factory in Pale Primrose Yellow, the car is said to have received paintwork during the 1980s refurbishment. Features include taillights located below the rear bumper, wraparound chrome bumpers and bumperettes, a driver-door-mounted mirror, and uncovered headlight buckets.
The 15″ chrome wire wheels are secured by three-lobed knock-offs and are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that were reportedly installed in the 2000s. A matching spare wheel is mounted beneath the trunk floor. The soft top window seals will need replacement, and the right-front wheel is missing a spoke.
The cockpit features bucket seats with headrests trimmed in black leather as well as matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes lap belts, an AM/FM radio, a wood shift knob, and a locking glovebox.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level are located in the center of the dashboard. The Brake Fluid/Handbrake light stays on according to the seller. The five-digit odometer shows 85k miles.
The 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six breathes through twin Stromberg carburetors and was factory rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. The engine is said to have been rebuilt in 1985, a replacement radiator core was reportedly installed in 2005, and an electronic ignition system is fitted.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox.
