Recent service is said to have involved an oil change and replacement of a lift valve solenoid, the alternator, and the front trunk shocks.
The 996 Turbo features wider rear bodywork, rear air intakes, and revised bumper covers in comparison with the contemporary Carrera. This example is finished in Speed Yellow (L12H) and is equipped with an electric sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, and a speed-activated rear spoiler that has been fitted with replacement hydraulics from Rennkit. Paint-protection film was applied to the front of the car, and the seller notes that the film is peeling and shows scuffs. The front hood shocks were reportedly replaced within the past six months.
Silver-finished 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 295/30 rear Sumitomo HTR ZIII tires that show date codes from 2014 and 2017. Aftermarket wheel bolts have been installed, and the car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM). Braking is from red-finished calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable sports seats upholstered in black leather with embossed headrests and yellow hard-back shells. Leather and carbon-fiber accents are present on the dashboard and door panels, and the center console is finished in yellow. Additional equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, power accessories, yellow seat belts, embroidered floor mats, navigation, a cassette-tape player, a remote six-disc CD changer, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM).
The carbon fiber-trimmed steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 54k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was rated at 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was recently performed, and the seller states that a lift valve solenoid was replaced in May 2021. Other service in the past six months is said to have included replacement of the alternator and the air filter.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle.
