The body of the Spyder was designed by Italdesign Giugiaro, and this example is finished in Nero Carbonio Metallic and features a power-operated black soft top that is shown both raised and lowered in the gallery below. Exterior details include xenon headlights, a chrome-trimmed grille, and quad exhaust outlets.
Multi-spoke 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 235/40 up front and 265/35 out back, while a spare tire and wheel is located under the trunk floor. Braking is handled by cross-drilled rotors and Maserati-branded calipers at each corner. A replacement steering rack kit was installed in March 2021.
The interior features heated and power-adjustable seats upholstered in beige leather with embossed Trident logos on the headrests, along with matching door panels, a two-tone dashboard, and black carpeting. Additional amenities include driver seat memory, Maserati-branded door sills, an analog clock, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a CD stereo with navigation. The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and fuel level.
The Ferrari-derived 4.2-liter F136 R V8 was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed Cambiocorsa automated manual transaxle. Services performed in March 2021 include an oil change and a timing variator service with replacement of the valve cover gaskets, timing components, and spark plugs.
A car cover is included in the sale along with a tool kit, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a window sticker showing initial delivery to Miller Motorcars of Greenwich Connecticut, colors and equipment, and a total vehicle price of $100,045.
