This 1976 BMW 2002 comes from the model’s final year of production and was acquired by the seller in 1994. Originally finished in Anthracite Grey Metallic, the car was repainted black under previous ownership and was refinished again in 1998. Work is said to have included rust repair in the floors as well as refinishing the rear shock towers and spare tire well. Equipment includes square taillights, US-market impact bumpers and side markers, chrome mirrors, and pop-out rear windows. The rear bumper was repaired following an aLident in 2008, and bubbling is noted on the driver’s side door.

A four-spoke steering wheel frames a wood-look instrument panel housing a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, and a combination gauge with fuel level and coolant temperature readouts. The five-digit odometer shows 89k miles, approximately 46k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter M10 inline-four features a Weber 32/36 downdraft carburetor and a radiator sourced from an E21 320i. A replacement exhaust system and fuel tank have been installed aLording to the seller.
